Panchatantra2 ...Bharund-The Bird with Two Heads

On the shore of a lake there once lived a strange bird called Bharund. He had one stomach but two heads and two mouths.
One day,Bharund was eating a delicious fruit with one of his mouths and simultaneously describing its taste. The other mouth too wanted to taste the delicious fruit, but the first mouth refused the request saying: "We both have a common stomach,so where is the need of your tasting this food? It would be better if I gave the remaining portion of this fruit to my wife".
The next day,the second mouth got some poisonous food.He told the first mouth he wanted to eat the poisonous fruit. The first mouth said:"Do not eat this fruit, else both of us will die".
Being angry with the first mouth for not giving it the sweet fruit, the second mouth did not pay heed to this advice and ate the poisonous fruit. As a result, both of them died.

MORAL:
1). Many people work against their own interests because their lower nature does not allow
them to do the right thing.Leaders have to be particularly careful not to fall into this trap as
the top position offers stronger temptations.
2). If those at the top do not reach consensus and each acts in his own interest, the company will
suffer the consequence of mismanagement and collapse.
There's a great saying: "If you want to test a person's character, give him the power !!!"
